Prior to the Swiss team coming out for interviews, Kevin and Patrick Fulton provide a Microphone check for SRF Swiss Radio and television at the St James Place in Beaver Creek. The boys listen intently to the Swiss 2014 Sportswomen of the Year as she answers questions about her amazing life, and incredible road to stardom. World Cup alpine ski racer, Gisin has 3 World Cup victories, 7 podiums, and 42 top ten finishes. Thank you Dominique for sharing your enthusiasm and love of skiing with two very young fans!
Mikaela Shiffrin – 2015 World Ski Championships
Before Mikaela Shiffrin topped the podium winning her second straight World Title Saturday, she took the time to sign autographs and meet her local fans in Vail, Colorado. Amazingly, Shiffrin overcame a .04 second deficit halfway through her second run to lead all racers winning by a margin of .34. Shiffrin is a true local hero to all of us living in Vail (Eagle-Vail) and Beaver Creek, Colorado and an inspiration to kids young and old that love to ski FAST!!! Thank you Mikaela for inspiring the next generation of ski racers.
Glen Plake at SIA in Denver
Phil Horsman from Charter Sports tracks down the ever elusive Glen Plake at the SIA tradeshow in Denver for an autograph. Glen Plake joins the likes of Stein Eriksen, Warren Miller, Klaus Obermeyer and other legends of the ski industry on the soon to be famous Rossignol 220 cm downhill skis. Phil has been collecting signatures dating back to 1995, when he retired from ski racing MASTERS and became our number 1 fan. Keep up the good work Phil, and thank you Glen Plake, our Heavenly Valley brother from another mother. Stay RAD!!!
