Before Mikaela Shiffrin topped the podium winning her second straight World Title Saturday, she took the time to sign autographs and meet her local fans in Vail, Colorado. Amazingly, Shiffrin overcame a .04 second deficit halfway through her second run to lead all racers winning by a margin of .34.  Shiffrin is a true local hero to all of us living in Vail (Eagle-Vail) and Beaver Creek, Colorado and an inspiration to kids young and old that love to ski FAST!!! Thank you Mikaela for inspiring the next generation of ski racers.
