Q: Will your rental shops be open this season?
A: Yes, we plan on opening all Charter Sports physical locations, as well as our Premier Ski Delivery service.
Q: How are you keeping guests and employees safe during the rental process?
A: We will follow all local, county, and state guidelines. This may include limiting the number of guests inside our stores, facial coverings, social distancing, sanitation stations, floor markings, plexiglass protective barriers, touchless payment, and all rental equipment will be sanitized prior to each use. We will also implement enhanced cleaning procedures for high touch areas throughout our stores, as well as increased frequency. As CDC guidelines permit, we will ease these requirements as necessary.
Q: Will reservation be required for rentals?
A: Reservation will be strongly recommended. For returning guests, we will already know what size boots and skis you have used in the past through our customer database and will reserve gear accordingly. For new reservations, we will work off your renter data and select appropriately sized gear for your rental experience. By having a reservation, your gear will be set aside with your name, pre-teched, and ready to go the day before your first ski day. This GRAB & GO process will absolutely expedite your rental experience and help limit the time spent in our stores.
Q: How do I make a reservation?
A: Simply click the reservation link BOOK NOW, “Reserve Skis/Boards” and follow the easy to read steps.
Q: Do you recommend that guests pick up their rental equipment the day before their first ski day?
A: Yes, absolutely. When making a reservation, select the location renting, enter the first day of rental, last day of rental, and check the box indicating that you will pick up your rental after 1 pm and before 7 pm the day before your first ski/ride day. If you are delayed, do not worry, we always hold the reservations for 24 hours from pick up date.
Q: Can I exchange my equipment if I want something different?
A: You Bet! Skiers and Riders often change models and/or lengths during the course of their stay. You can exchange at any time, at any of our locations! We want to make sure you have a great time on the hill.
Q: What are your rental shop hours?
A: Our shop hours are from 8 am to 7 pm, daily.
Q: What if I don’t know my ski boot size?
A: Our ski boots have been selected for their comfort and performance. Your boot will most likely be the exact same size as the shoe you are currently wearing. Our trained technicians will convert your shoe size and fit each customer individually in our shops to ensure a proper fit before you hit the hill.
Q: What if I rent skis for 3 days but I decide to snowboard the last day?
A: No Problem! Bring your skis in and we’ll set you up on a snowboard. There may be a slight price adjustment depending on the package you select.
Q: Can I reserve a specific ski?
A: Simply include the specific request in the “Questions/Special Requests” section, and we will reserve based on the information received. We cannot guarantee a specific request, but we will do our best to provide the requested equipment.
Q: Can I rent from one location and return to another?
A: Yes. You may pick up and drop off at any one of our convenient locations.
Q: What are the largest ski boot and snowboard boot in your inventory?
A: We carry up to a size 15 ski and snowboard boot, advanced reservations are strongly recommended as we have limited quantities in those sizes.
Q: What if I have my own boots?
A: Simply choose the package you would like to reserve and we can adjust the price upon your arrival, provided your boots meet industry standards (i.e. no excessive wear).
